Taking a short break between feeds.

First time at Hort Park. Lyn was sleeping and Paige was cranky and complaining that it was “hot hot”. So prissy. 

We went to Pasir Ris to get cze char, while waiting we wandered around the neighborhood stores and chanced upon a sweet talk bubble tea shop. Got in line and when it came to my turn, I ordered a honey milk tea and Eugene ordered a mango smoothie. 

During dinner we were sipping our drinks and Paige (sitting in between us) will ask daddy for “some”. She got small sips now and then. I told Eugene “she only ask from you, not from me”. Paige turned to me and said “tea, cannot drink”.

When Lyn is not fussing, we put both the kids in their car seats and I’ll sit up front. Some times the DVD player doesn’t come on and we have to restart it. So every time when we start the car I have to check it is working and not a blank screen. From the front, it takes a bit of effort, stretching my neck back to check. On the way home tonight, Before I could stretch and check, Paige said “got”, very matter of fact, and continue watching her video.

After dinner…

Daddy: Paige, you want a Tokyo Banana? Uncle Irving bought you some Tokyo Bananas. 

Paige: So nice! 

Waiting to ta bao dinner home, and stealing sips of daddy’s sugar cane drink. 

Eating jollibean crispy pancake. First time she’s using her new My Melody bag. She’s won’t let go of it for even a second, even in the car seat she’s holding on to it. 

Picked up the Tripp Trapp from Mothercare yesterday but didn’t have time to set it up. Tonight we set it up and Paige sat in it and gave it a test run.
