Thank you
Asking Paige to say thank you is hard. She keeps quiet when given something by someone (like nurse at pd gave her gummy) and we ask her to thank the person. At home she says thank you only when given her candy, 80% of the time without prompting. Today for the first time she said it herself.
We were in the playroom, she went to sit at her table and chair to draw on her aquadoodle. She waved the pen at me and said “more”, wanting more water in the pen. I asked her to bring the pen to me so i can refill it. She came over, handed it to me and walked back to sit at her table. Out of nowhere she turned around and said “thank you” as I was walking out of the room to refill the pen.
Maybe she is finally getting the idea.
Lyn’s growth
Brought Lyn for her 6 weeks appt with her pd, she weighs in at a whopping 5.34kg (birth weight 3.95kg) and her length at 55.6cm (51cm at birth). She got “checked” and received the first of her 6 in 1 jab. She’ll be due back for the next jab in August.
Since we were there, I took the opportunity to weigh Paige. She’s now 9.4kg and about 82cm. It took her a long time to hit 5kg, Lyn is already there at 6 weeks.
