Grandpa came for visit and said to grndma he’s going home. Paige ran to get the house keys and went to the main door, saying “bye bye” on the way there. Then she waited at the door and said “see you”.
Definitely not the friendiest host around. ![]()

Paige has been trying to practice how to sign numbers 1-5 with her hand/fingers. She will lie in her crib at night or in the morning and practice it, it’s really funny to watch.
She got 1 easily so that’s easy. She practiced 2 and was so proud when she got it. Each time it takes her a short while to get her fingers to “listen” to her before she can stick out that 2 needed fingers. Once she manages, she goes “Got it!!”. 3 was a big challenge but eventually she got her fingers to cooperate. 4 was easier and 5 was a piece of cake.
Paige in car seat.
“tv tv”
Turn on the dvd for her, soon the dvd ended.
“no more”
“remote remote”
I did nothing, just smile at her.
Paige point to the space between us where i usually put the remote.
“here, here”
“remote, remote”
Then she did the sign language and said “no more”
Eugene hit play from the front control and seeing her video playing again, paige giggled.
Speaking toddler is so much fun.
Lyn’s embilical cord stub fell off tonight!! So fast!! Paige’s fell off at day 12, today is only day 6 for Lyn! Everything is faster for her, she is stronger, can lift her head shortly the day we discharged, amazing.
We’re not sure of Lyn’s jaundice so Eugene brought her to the pd while I stayed at home with Paige. Her name means nothing to the nurses since she brand new, they asked for mommy’s name and immediately went “oh, she’s Paige’s meimei.” Guess the famous one is Paige.
Lyn weighs in at 3.69kg. Jaundice is ok, we just have to contine to sun her. If her belly button area is still sore in a few days, the pd will cover it up to prevent infection.
We did a newborn shoot for Lyn with Hart of Tomato Photo today. It was too bad her cord fell off already. She was reasonably cooperative, didn’t cry much and only stopped for one feed. I think her photos will come out nice. I would love it if we can get some nice photos of Paige and Lyn together. Can’t wait to see the photos.
Anything Paige picks up, like the remote (aircon, tv, fan etc), she pretends it’s a phone and her conversation goes like this…
“Hello”
“Yup”
“Bye bye”
