Chicky meal

Before visiting the zoo, we had lunch at KFC. Paige got her first Chicky Meal. She enjoyed it alright!

Playclub week 8

We got to JG with some time to spare so we went to the little reading room. Paige took fancy to a series of “pig” books. The pig was doing different activities like playing with friends, telling a story etc. Paige surprised me by signing friends, and story. These were all sign language from her favorite Baby Einstein “First Signs” but she has never signed them to us before. Only goes to show she learnt more than we thought.

Favorite time in class, snack time. The only kid left eating, while others are already playing in the outdoor playground.

i love mommy/daddy onesies

I saw these cute long sleeves onesies on the BP thread and bought them for Paige. She’ll need them as pj to go under the sleep bags. The ones she has been wearing were her xmas gift from her yee ma in 2007. They still fit and looks kind of loose but she’ll be needing new ones soon. These were not too expensive, $9 for a set/pack of 2, including shipping. I didn’t want to buy too many in case the material wasn’t good, they were decent.

Food overload

Paige had a lot to eat tonight though she has had more in the past. Guess she wasn’t feeling that great having missed her nap and getting her jabs in the afternoon. After her bath, she was drinking her milk and threw up all over her playmat. We had to give her another bath. The playmat was a goner, even if we washed it it would be stinky, throw up milk is the worst! Kind of sad to toss it since Paige has had it since she was a baby but I don’t know if I want to smell sour milk every time. She seem to feel better after she threw up and wanted more milk. She drank half of her usual dose and went to sleep. Hopefully she doesn’t throw up again and fingers crossed no fever from the jabs.

Jabs done

Paige had the last of her jabs today and she’s all done with jabs until Primary One. She weighs in at 9.1kg and height of 78cm. I think she’s taller than 78cm but she had tilted her head to look at what the nurse was doing, and that made her shorter. Any way, when I asked Prof Lee if her weight is ok, she said “yes, almost hit 10% already, and height is about 25%”. I don’t think we’ll switch formula and will just stick to Gain.

She was happy playing in the waiting room but became quiet once we entered the dr’s room. Got checked and then Prof Lee asked if she’s ready for her jabs and she actually said yes. Don’t think she realized what was being asked. She was fine until the first jab went in and started crying, then cried and struggled as the second jab was being administered. She stopped crying when Prof Lee gave her a bag of gummy bears.

When waiting to paid in the waiting room. Paige pouted and said “pain”. The nurses thought it was darn adorable. She didn’t think it was funny but was contented to have gummy bears to munch on. I got an MC for Paige just in case she develop a fever from the jabs and can’t attend Playclub tomorrow.

Since we were in Mt E, we popped by to visit Cin, who just delivered on Tuesday. We didn’t get to see baby Evan as he was in the nursery. Paige didn’t mind the detour at all since Auntie Cin has cakes in her room. ;)

PD visit

Pa-py

Paige has always called us mama and papa. This last couple of days, she started calling me mamy some times. Tonight after her bath, daddy was drying her and she called “papy”. Logically it made sense, mama becomes mamy, so papa becomes papy. Shouldn’t have laughed at her, but it was really quite funny. ;)
