After a couple of months of “nana”, finally Lyn is calling “mama” loud and clear.
Her teeth #5 is also popping. It’s the top front (left) tooth.

Paige upon seeing me rub the bruise on my knee “hurt”, then went right back to playing with her doctor set.
While playing, pooh fell off Paige’s little sofa.
Paige ask pooh: “are you ok?”
Next Curly, the bunny, fell off the sofa.
Paige picked it up and hugged it, at the same time said to Curly “it’s ok.”
I was playing with Paige drawing on her aqua doodle.
Draw a star.
Paige: star
Draw a sun.
Paige: sun
Draw a moon.
Paige: nana (as in banana)
*sigh* not her fault, I’m known not to be good at drawing.
We were hanging out in bed before bedtime.
E: give papa a goodnight kiss.
Paige kissed papa.
E: give mama a kiss.
Paige kissed mama.
Leaned over and planted a kiss on Lyn’s head.
So sweet!!
Paige has learnt her 1-10 for quite a while, should have continued with the numbers but we were busy adjusting to having Lyn around. This week we introduced 11-20 to her and she recites it herself whenever she feels like it, on the changing table, in her crib. It took 2 days for her to sort of get it, except she kept missing 13. Maybe she believes in unlucky number. ![]()
Asking Paige to say thank you is hard. She keeps quiet when given something by someone (like nurse at pd gave her gummy) and we ask her to thank the person. At home she says thank you only when given her candy, 80% of the time without prompting. Today for the first time she said it herself.
We were in the playroom, she went to sit at her table and chair to draw on her aquadoodle. She waved the pen at me and said “more”, wanting more water in the pen. I asked her to bring the pen to me so i can refill it. She came over, handed it to me and walked back to sit at her table. Out of nowhere she turned around and said “thank you” as I was walking out of the room to refill the pen.
Maybe she is finally getting the idea.
This is the way I brush my teeth…. Paige wants to brush her own teeth this morning. I brush it for her first then let her try. She held the brush steady and moved her head!! LOL
