Turn on the dvd for her, soon the dvd ended.

Speaking toddler is so much fun.

Home gal

Paige likes to go home after we’ve been out for a while. Tonight we had dinner at her grandparents’. She didn’t have much to do and spent most of the night delivering her cards from the living room to daddy in the study. When it was time to go home…..

Grandma (in mandarin): time to go home.

Paige immediately got up: “bai bai” and walk towards the door. Half way there, she was blowing kisses.

Grandma (in mandarin): you haven’t put on your shoes!

Paige was led back to the sofa to have her socks and shoes put on. Once it was done, she walked towards the door.

Grandma (in mandarin): what do you say? (meaning bye bye)

Paige: “oooh poon” and pointed at the door.

She was really really keen to go home. :D

What’s your name?

Standing in front of the kitchen door looking at Baby (our pom).

Eugene: “what’s this?”

Paige: “dog”

Eugene: “what’s his name?”

Paige: “bebi”

Paige walked away to the bedroom and turned back.

Eugene: “what’s your name?”

Paige: “peeeige”

Pooh

While we were eating lunch, Paige suddenly pointed at something on the dining table and said “Pooh”. Initially I thought she was referring to her baby pooh stuff toy, which was in her crib, then I realized my mug had Pooh on it. So I told her yes, it’s pooh. She said “pigggieee”. Of course piglet was standing next to Pooh on the mug. :)

Corn Pops

I’m running out of healthy food ideas for snack time. This afternoon I gave Paige some corn pops. She seem to like it though she fed me some. When she starts distributing her food, it usually means she is full or she’s not crazy about the food. She passed me a corn pop, I asked her “is it for me? or do you want mama to feed it to you?” She pointed at me and said “eat”.

She took her time eating and playing, she’ll put a corn pop in between her teeth and wants me to put it into her mouth for her.

I know it’s cake!

We bought a cake from Polar tonight. When we got home, Paige was still in her stroller and I went to put the cake away. I slide the plastic bag down to take the box out.

Paige: cake!
Me: How do you know?
Paige: I know!
